(LAKEWOOD - Aug. 13, 2023) Flaming River Con, the Midwest’s first queer geek convention, will bring LGBTQIA+ nerds and allies together for this year’s event September 16, 2023, at The Fieldhouse Gymnasium at Studio West 117.

Our Mission

Flaming River Arts 501(c)(3) was founded in 2017 to foster, showcase, and elevate the LGBTQIA+ community and the voices within it, as well as to combat bigotry by increasing the visibility of queer and marginalized persons within geek culture. Flaming River Con is our annual celebration of these efforts and individuals.
